Research peptides for laboratory research, carefully handled and supplied for in-vitro research use only. Not for use in humans.
Quantum Research Peptides is a small supplier of research-grade peptides for qualified researchers, laboratories, and institutions. Our focus is simple: careful handling, clear communication, and responsive, personal service.
All materials are intended strictly for laboratory research use.
Amino acids are small organic molecules containing an amino group, a carboxyl group, and a distinctive side chain. Twenty standard amino acids are encoded by the genetic code and serve as the building blocks of proteins.
When the carboxyl group of one amino acid reacts with the amino group of another, a covalent peptide (amide) bond forms, releasing a molecule of water. Repeating this links amino acids into a chain.
Peptides are short chains of amino acids, generally up to around 50 residues. Longer chains that fold into complex structures are typically called proteins. Peptide sequence determines its chemical properties.
